FIT FOR THE KING

Rebuilding The Temple of God

Group Training is Easy!

Fit For The KingInterval training ....alternating short bouts (20 seconds) of high-intensity strength training with longer periods (one to two minutes) of recovery through walking and/or jogging is the scientifically proven most effective method to burn stored fat and increase cardiovascular fitness, thereby decreasing cases of cancer, diabetes, osteopo-rosis and heart disease. When you equip individual churches with this out-standing training principle wherein the members are allowed to train at the church in a non-threatening atmosphere with people they know and care about, then you have a unique ministry unlike anything else being offered anywhere in the nation.

Our nation’s churches represent the last and greatest untapped market in the fitness/wellness industry. An additional plus is that the FFTK workout is a tremendous outreach program for people of all ages to invite their friends who might not otherwise attend a church function.

Amazing Results

Fit For The KingJune 30, 2010 represented the completion of an 18 week pilot program of our FFTK Interval Training at The People’s Church in Franklin, Tennessee. Average attendance was 81 participants a day, three days per week, for the 18 week period of the trial program.

The 79 people who measured and weighed throughout the term of the 18 week program lost a total of 445 inches and 389 pounds!

Four people stated that they were no longer symptomatic of type II diabetes. Dozens of others dramatically lowered their resting heart rate, blood pressure, increased bone density and gained muscle mass, while at the same time enjoying the benefits of having more energy, strength and a general feeling of well-being.

Not only did the participants enjoy these amazing results physically but FFTK became the largest ministry in the church over that 18 week period. No other ministry came close to having 243 enthusiastic participants on a weekly basis for 18 weeks. August 2, 2010 started “Phase II” of the program which is currently averaging 110 people per day, 330 per week—good news travel fast!

The FFTK program comes with “tool kits” (all the equipment needed for each individual’s workout, utilizing tubing for the safest and most successful results) and DVD’s for effective training, whether there is a fitness instructor present or not.

A Solution to The Nation's Health Crises

Fit For The KingOur nation is in the midst of an unprecedented health crisis, the likes of which we have never faced before in our 234 year history. Ours is the first generation ever predicted to have a longer life span than their children. Unfortunately, the Chris-tian community has become a part of this dangerous lack of physical wellness. The Fit For The King (FFTK) fitness program was formed to allow Christians of all ages to effectively embrace their responsibility as “Believers” to glorify God in their bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

These two verses of Scripture provide the foundation for our mission statement at FFTK. We are committed to empowering believers in Jesus Christ to maximize their God given physical talents and abilities for their good and His glory. FFTK is a fitness/wellness program that takes the scientifically proven best method for promoting weight loss (interval training) with equally effective nutritional guidelines, combining the two with the word of God, to create an affordable solution for an atmosphere of total wellness as God’s peo-ple rebuild His temple in their individual lives.

Only used by athletes until recently, FFTK’s interval training combines strength training with walking or jogging to maximize the body’s ability to burn stored fat while improving cardiovascular fitness at the same time.

Participants can obtain a total body workout without ever having to get on the ground if they don’t want to, and are also given the option of additional exercises to do during the “walk” time if they do not mind getting on the floor.
